Scar correction
- Par injections ou au laser
- Vitamine C+E de Vivier
Injections
The injection is done in the scar with a fine needle. This type of treatment may require two to three sessions, each every two to three months. The result will be supervised to avoid an overdose and an embrittlement of tissues.
Laser
High frequency pulsating laser appliances are used in the procedure for laser scar removal. The laser beam penetrates into the skin, focusing heat into the cell layer. The heat destroys the cell layer and the blood supply of the scar tissue. This leads to the controlled reduction of the scar tissue.
For an optimal result usually several treatments are necessary. The controlled, laser induced inflammation must heal completely before the next layer can be removed. Final results are usually very satisfying. The result is permanent.
It depends on the condition and on the original injury as to whether and to what extent a scar can be removed. Complete removal is not always possible.
The laser is not suitable for the removal of deeper scars or large bulges, which can be removed by a surgical scar correction.
